As our Bistro Assistant you will ensure all daily activitiesrun smoothly and efficiently, working alongside staff and volunteersin our Bistro based in our Hospice in Cambridge.
The role will involvepreparing and serving hot and cold food, drinks, and snacks tocustomers and visitors, ensuringthat high standards of service are always maintained.
Ideally, you will have somework experience as a restaurant/bistro assistant or similar and have excellent customer service skills and be sensitive to our visitors and patients.
Our Bistro operates 7 days per week and the hours of work will be 8-4pm. We have a variety of shifts availableto work on a bank basis and are happy to discuss availability at interview.

Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-rataβd for part time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role. Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
