The Global Strategic Advisory (GSA) team is dedicated to delivering outstanding value to our clients by providing industry-leading insights, anchored to the three value drivers of (re-)insurance (growth, profitability, capital). We closely collaborate with our regional teams to enhance business growth, increase return on investment, and establish market-leading capabilities that differentiate us from our competitors. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our GSA team as a Senior Associate! This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our team\’s growth and success.
How you\’ll make an impact
- Collaborate with internal teams in Broking, Analytics, and Capital Solutions to lead transactions and projects.
- Lead strategic client engagements and deliver detailed client presentations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and strategic reviews to drive client value.
- Conduct market research, identifying and monitoring industry trends.
- Create and maintain persuasive narratives and visually appealing presentations to successfully implement client strategies.
- Engage with C-Suite clients to understand their goals and challenges, and providing custom solutions that improve their strategic objectives.
About you
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience of hands-on M&A, advisory, or consulting work, preferably gained in an investment bank, FIG boutique, or Big 4 accountancy firm. Experience in corporate strategy functions at major non-life insurance companies will also be considered.
- A sound knowledge of the Property and Casualty industry and a familiarity with the Lloyd\’smarket is desirable
- High proficiency in and passion for problem solving
- An ability to identify business challenges and opportunities, break these into logical and manageable components and think creatively about solutions
- Personable, collaborative, and adaptable
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record to meet time frames and deliver high-quality output
- Willingness to learn and ability to tackle complex problems
- Eligible to work in the UK
