Overview
As Health, Safety & Fire Risk Consultant, you help clients identify risks and implement practical safety solutions. You work across sectors, conducting audits, inspections, and fire risk assessments, and you translate findings into actionable recommendations. You will operate largely remotely with support from a UK team, while building trusted client relationships. Your work strengthens risk management and safety culture, delivering measurable improvements. This role offers hands-on impact with a global firm that values collaboration and integrity.

Responsibilities
- Conduct health & safety audits, inspections and compliance reviews
- Complete fire risk assessments and review fire safety arrangements
- Identify risks and evaluate existing controls
- Provide practical recommendations to drive positive change
- Produce clear reports and action plans
- Advise clients on health & safety legislation and best practice
- Support organizations to strengthen their risk management approach
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders
- Manage own projects, workload and client appointments
- Collaborate with Gallagher colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience
Key requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate or equivalent health & safety qualification
- Level 6 qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6) or actively working towards one
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, site reviews or advisory work
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to build relationships
- Experience producing clear reports and communicating recommendations
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Practical, solution-focused approach to risk management
