We are seeking to hire a qualified actuary to join our UK & Ireland team based in London (City). We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, happy to lead meetings and deliver risk solutions. The UK&I team is focused on placing risk solutions within the motor, property, liability and PL (Personal Lines).

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead reinsurance pricing analytics on a portfolio of clients, including strategic reviews to refresh and optimise reinsurance strategy.
  • Drive analytical broking discussions with reinsurers to help our clients achieve optimal reinsurance terms.
  • Conduct client meetings to discuss model outputs, limitations, and assumptions.
  • Carry out market analysis to benchmark assumptions on rate change, loss inflation, etc.
  • Help drive the team growth through participation in RFPs, team management / mentorship and developing current and prospect client relationships.

About You:

  • Qualified actuary with proven experience.
  • Prior experience in insurance and/or reinsurance pricing techniques.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Minimum of 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and the option to ‘buy’ extra days.
