Overview
In this client-facing Investment Consultant role, you will advise institutional clients on investment strategies and oversee key workstreams in collaboration with specialists. You’ll present credible guidance at trustee and client board meetings, monitor portfolios, and help shape tailored advice. You will mentor junior colleagues and contribute to proposals and thought leadership, while gaining autonomy to lead projects and develop through structured training.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and oversee investment workstreams
- Present clear investment advice at trustee and client board meetings
- Collaborate with specialists to deliver holistic, tailored recommendations
- Monitor portfolios to ensure strategies stay effective
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge
- Support business development through proposals and new initiatives
- Engage with the industry via thought leadership, blogs, or conferences
Key requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in investment consulting or institutional investment; experience with UK pension clients preferred
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and investment strategies
- Confident communicator capable of presenting to sophisticated clients
- Proactive and well-organized with deadline-driven mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
