You’ll support Gallagher’s UK and EMEA businesses, helping leadership manage risks and align decisions with divisional strategies. You’ll handle employee competition litigation and related advisory work, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk. You will shape practical legal solutions that enable business growth and maintain trust with stakeholders. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive compensation /li li Comprehensive benefits programs /li li Career development and ongoing learning /li li Collaborative, people-first culture with accessible leadership /li li Global reach with local impact /li li Inclusive and authentic workplace /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide legal and tactical guidance on contentious matters, with emphasis on restrictive covenants and employment contracts /li li Manage litigation and pre-action dispute resolution in employee competition, identifying facts, issues and risks /li li Draft correspondence to opposing parties and their counsel /li li Instruct and oversee outside counsel when appropriate /li li Assist in preparing management reports for Gallagher’s Boards and senior management /li li Apply proportionate and commercial judgement in advising and decisions /li li Enhance processes to mitigate risk and deliver business training on topic areas /li li Build and maintain strong relationships with Gallagher’s businesses and senior management /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Qualified solicitor with High Court (England Wales) litigation and dispute resolution experience /li li Typically 5+ years post-qualification experience /li li Experience handling litigation and/or pre-action correspondence related to restrictive covenants and team move disputes /li li Knowledge of the insurance industry is helpful but not essential /li li Proven drafting, analytical and communication skills to distill complex issues into clear advice /li li Ability to develop excellent working relationships and earn the trust of senior stakeholders /li li Right to work in the UK /li /ul ul li Strong drafting and communication /li li Analytical mindset /li li Relationship-building with senior stakeholders /li li High Court litigation experience (England Wales) /li li Pre-action correspondence /li li Restrictive covenants and team move disputes /li /ul
