Overview
In this role you drive accurate data-driven pension projects and events for clients. You will collect, process and audit data, generate reports, and prepare correspondence and client updates to keep stakeholders informed. You’ll perform manual and automated pension calculations for events like leavers and retirements, and ensure regulatory compliance. You join a collaborative pensions team focused on delivering precise, timely work that supports clients and members. Responsibilities
- Data mining and processing projects and events with high accuracy
- Collecting, checking and inputting data correctly
- Running data reports and preparing member correspondence and client reports
- Performing manual and automated pension calculations for events (leavers, retirements, deaths, renewals, pension increases, PIA)
- Using MKEY reports and data mining to locate information in member files
- Reviewing Scheme Booklets, Trust Deeds, Rules and Benefit Specifications for task requirements
- Ensuring compliance with pension regulations (GMP/GMPE, disclosures, minimum increases)
- Liaising with stakeholders via email, phone, and meetings to provide progress updates
- Collaborating with team and supporting groups to ensure smooth delivery
- Prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and allowing time for peer review
- Preparing and checking member correspondence and client reports for accuracy and compliance
- Using Advanced Excel and Word to support reporting and administration
Key requirements
- Experience and understanding of Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) and Hybrid pension schemes
- Good knowledge of pension regulations including GMP/GMPE, disclosures and minimum pension increases
- Advanced Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to process, collect and input data accurately
- Experience of manual and automated pension calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
