Overview
In this role you help organisations identify and manage health, safety and fire-related risks across sites and operations. You work with clients to audit, assess, and enhance safety practices, delivering practical recommendations and clear reports. You’ll operate largely from home with support from a UK-based team, building trusted relationships while driving meaningful risk improvements. This position suits a proactive professional who thrives in consultancy and real-world safety outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Conduct health, safety audits, inspections and compliance reviews
- Complete fire risk assessments and evaluate fire safety arrangements
- Identify risks and assess existing controls
- Provide practical recommendations to drive positive change
- Produce clear, professional reports and action plans
- Advise on health and safety legislation and good practice
- Support organisations to strengthen risk management approaches
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders
- Manage own projects, workload and client appointments
- Collaborate with Gallagher colleagues to deliver excellent client experience
Key requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate or equivalent health & safety qualification
- A Level 6 qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6) or actively working towards it
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections, site reviews or advisory work
- Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build relationships
- Experience producing clear reports and communicating recommendations
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
