Our Global Trade Team is central to driving growth and collaboration across our international network – identifying opportunities, strengthening relationships, and connecting expertise across the business. We are now looking to appoint a Trade Operations Specialist – a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a varied and high-impact role, combining data analysis, stakeholder engagement and operational support. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, supporting pipeline growth, and ensuring the effective coordination of global trade initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and commercial opportunities
    • Produce high-quality reports and dashboards for senior leadership
    • Respond to ad-hoc data requests with accuracy and pace
    • Support decision-making through analysis of sales performance and pipeline data
  • Opportunity Identification & Outreach
    • Proactively identify and assess new business opportunities
    • Engage with internal stakeholders to develop and progress opportunities
    • Build strong relationships across the business to support collaboration and growth
    • Track opportunities, referrals, introductions, and pipeline activity
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to align global initiatives
    • Facilitate collaboration across retail, wholesale and specialist teams
    • Build strong working relationships with brokers, account teams and business units
    • Present insights and updates in meetings with confidence and clarity
    • Track actions, coordinate follow-ups and support internal introductions
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement improvements to data and reporting processes
    • Support adoption and effective use of tools and technology
    • Maintain data integrity within CRM systems (Salesforce)
    • Promote consistency and efficiency across workflows

About You

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams
  • Analytical mindset with experience working with and interpreting data
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualisation)
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Snowflake (or similar), or Salesforce is advantageous
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of compliance and governance standards

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role (insurance experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
