At Gallagher, we are looking for a Senior Regional Security Manager to join our team and take charge of physical security, life safety, risk management, and incident response operations. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving operational excellence, enhancing security programs, and ensuring alignment with global standards.

In this role, you'll lead the charge in developing and optimising security programs across diverse regions, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. You'll oversee daily security operations, manage vendor relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that security processes integrate seamlessly with business operations. You'll also play a pivotal role in incident response, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the safety and security of our people, facilities, and operations.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

  • Evaluate and enhance regional security operations to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Adapt global security policies to align with local regulatory and privacy requirements.
  • Oversee daily security operations across multiple locations with varying levels of maturity.
  • Serve as the regional escalation authority for incidents, crises, and executive risk matters.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and community organisations.
  • Provide actionable insights and reporting to senior business leaders and Global Safety & Security leadership.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven years of experience in corporate security, risk management, or crisis response with an international scope.
  • Proven ability to enhance or optimise security operations in multi-country environments.
  • Strong understanding of European privacy, labour, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating with GSOCs and contributing to incident response across time zones.
  • Exceptional vendor management and executive communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to travel within the regions of responsibility (25-40%) and occasionally to the United States.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Security Management, International Relations, Emergency Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or ISO 31000 Risk Management.
  • Experience in regulated industries like insurance or financial services.
