How you’ll make an impact

  • Processes and analyses natural catastrophe risk information for insurance and reinsurance underwriting and portfolio risk assessment.
  • Supports the business to access information, develop portfolio exposure models and create analysis procedures.
  • Prepares analyses for Realistic Disaster Scenarios, Risk Aggregation and other risk measurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.
  • Facing function related problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.
  • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with significant impact on function level results.
  • May be responsible for entire projects or processes within sub-function.
  • Often leads the work of small project teams; may formally train junior staff.
  • Contributes to process improvements.
  • Responsible for making improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the function area.
  • Problems and issues faced may be difficult and require understanding of a broader set of issues.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes.
  • Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.

About You

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
