We are seeking a skilled Loss Adjuster to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic property claims. As a Property Loss Adjuster, you will take ownership of a varied caseload, investigating, reporting on, and settling claims from start to finish. You’ll work closely with clients, policyholders, insurers, and contractors to ensure every claim is handled fairly, efficiently, and with integrity. This is a remote based role, with travel to sites as required.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Manage, investigate, and report on a caseload of property claims.
- Handle claims from cradle to grave, including policy coverage assessment, scoping, quantum evaluation, settlement negotiation, and recovery where required.
- Work across a broad range of risks including Commercial & Domestic Property, Real Estate, HNW, Public Sector, and Local Authorities.
- Maintain high standards of communication with senior management, colleagues, and clients.
- Attend claims meetings and travel as needed.
- Participate in internal claims audits.
- Ensure full compliance with Gallagher Bassett procedures.
About You:
- Proven experience handling and investigating property claims.
- Strong cradle‑to‑grave claims management capability.
- Solid understanding of construction, mitigation, and liability principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience scheduling works and coordinating with insurers, policyholders, and builders.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and brokers through active listening and alignment with service expectations.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
