We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented professional to join our team as a Paralegal – Integrations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting integration projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing legal expertise across various business functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and contribute to the success of a global insurance brokerage firm.
You’ll be at the heart of our integration projects, working closely with teams across the business to deliver key milestones. From conducting business discovery and due diligence to drafting legal documents and managing contracts, you’ll ensure that all integration activities are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to negotiate contract terms, prepare board approvals, and maintain governance agreements. Your expertise will help us manage legal risks, support entity elimination processes, and ensure seamless communication with clients, brokers, and insurers. Additionally, you’ll:
- Draft legal risk summaries and facilitate electronic signatures for key documents.
- Maintain records of historic legal hive‑up transaction documents.
- Provide legal support for smaller integrations and respond to ad‑hoc project queries.
- Work with Finance to prepare documents for audits.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience in project management, with a focus on reporting, due diligence, and contract review.
- Prior exposure to the insurance sector (highly desirable).
- An understanding of corporate secretarial activities (advantageous).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise documents.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across multiple business functions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and corporate governance requirements.
- Familiarity with electronic signature platforms and processes.
- Right to work in the UK.
