Are you ready to bring your creativity to life? Join Gallagher’s newly created marketing hub in Glasgow as a Motion Designer in our global Art Department, Gallagher’s in‑house agency. This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that plays a key role in delivering innovative and impactful creative solutions for our global business. Reporting to the Glasgow Design Team Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of creating and delivering high‑quality motion graphics and animations that make a difference.

How you'll make an impact

  • In this role, you’ll use your expertise in motion design to create visually compelling animations and graphics that bring ideas to life.
  • You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues across the globe to understand project objectives and deliver creative solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll ensure every project is executed to the highest standard, balancing multiple priorities and maintaining quality.
  • Work closely with the Art Department to resolve technical and design challenges.
  • Use tools like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce exceptional work.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously develop your skills.
  • Follow best practices for file organisation, version control, and naming conventions.
  • Contribute to the positive image and success of the Art Department through professional interactions with clients and vendors.

About You

  • A proven track record in motion graphics and animation, with experience in Adobe Creative Cloud tools, particularly After Effects.
  • A solid understanding of motion design principles, including keyframing, value graphs, visual pacing, timing, typography, and layout.
  • Knowledge of video formats, compression techniques, and production/editing techniques.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A flexible and forward‑thinking attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A passion for engaging with diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive work environment.
