We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior M&A Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration projects into our Specialty Division, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with our strategic objectives. This role requires extensive experience in M&A, integration, and working within foreign territories such as the Middle East and regulated entities, particularly within the general insurance/London Market. This role will be based from our London Head office and we offer flexible hybrid working with 2-3 days a week being based in the office.
How youâll make an impact:
- Lead and manage end-to-end M&A integration projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Knowledge of working on projects in territories such as the Middle East, European Economic Area (EEA) and Bermuda is required.
- Develop and implement integration plans that align with strategic business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams, including finance, legal, IT, HR, and operations, to ensure cohesive integration efforts.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on integration progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within foreign territories and regulated entities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a focus on M&A within the insurance industry.
- Demonstrated experience working in foreign territories and regulated entities.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the insurance or financial services sectors.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex integration projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fantastic analytical and problemâsolving abilities.
