Overview: At Gallagher, we’re committed to creating a workplace where people thrive. As an HR Operations Manager, you’ll lead and support a team that ensures our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with the HR Director and other stakeholders to align HR operations with our business goals, making a real difference every day.
How you'll make an impact: In this role, you’ll oversee the core HR Operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive employee experience. You’ll manage payroll processes, oversee onboarding and offboarding, and provide guidance on employment terms and benefits. You’ll also play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, supporting change management initiatives, and ensuring policies are up to date with current legislation. Here’s what else you’ll do:
- Build strong relationships across the organisation to support employees and managers.
- Manage a small team of HR Ops Advisors.
- Respond to HR queries/tickets and provide clear, reliable advice.
- Collaborate on projects that align the workforce with organisational goals.
- Ensure all HR matters comply with legal and company standards.
About You: Proficiency in using computer systems and managing workloads effectively. Experience in HR Operations, including supporting managers through change. A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills. The ability to communicate clearly, whether in writing or in person. Adaptability and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business. CIPD Level 3 qualification is a nice to have. A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping others succeed.
