Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role with one of the world's leading insurance brokers? Gallagher is looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join our team and make a real impact. This is no ordinary credit control position, as you will need to reconcile, investigate and resolve process discrepancies. In this role, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts across the Aerospace/Aviation market. You'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth financial processes and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Investigate unallocated cash by working closely with brokers and clients.
  • Chase outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
  • Manage high volumes of queries and resolve urgent issues efficiently.
  • Provide detailed commentary on aged debt reports and elevate issues when necessary.
  • Perform root cause analysis to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Reconcile client statements and ensure compliance with Gallagher's policies and regulations.

About You:

  • Experience in purchase ledger, cash allocations, or accounts receivables in a large or complex business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, VLOOKUP, analysing and reconciling large data sets etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience, accountability, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
