At Gallagher, we’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Statutory Accounting team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is all about collaboration, precision, and making a real impact. You’ll help ensure our financial reporting is accurate and timely, working with a team that values growth, innovation, and shared success.

In this role, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Legal Entity Control team, ensuring deadlines are met and processes run smoothly. You’ll review statutory accounts, coordinate with external auditors, and lead the audit process. You’ll also review board and regulatory reports, provide technical accounting support, and ensure compliance with internal controls. Your work will involve collaborating with teams across the business to deliver accurate financial reports while gaining a deep understanding of our processes. You’ll also take on exciting projects such as assisting with acquisitions or the dissolution of entities, making a tangible difference to our organisation.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Experience with UK GAAP/US GAAP (preferred) and people management.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Organised, proactive, and has a positive attitude.
  • Communicates clearly and works well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

You’ll also need to be eligible to work in the UK.
