We are looking for a passionate and detail‑driven Compliance Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team, supporting the oversight of Appointed Representatives (ARs) and Delegated Authorities across our UK Retail business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with insurance industry experience who is committed to maintaining high standards of compliance and governance. Your insight, sound judgement and proactive approach will play a key role in ensuring our organisation continues to operate to the highest regulatory standards. Working alongside a professional, confident and collaborative team, you will provide independent oversight and monitoring, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners to drive continuous improvement. We are open to remote working arrangements, with regular UK‑wide travel as required.
How you'll make an impact:
- Lead independent oversight and monitoring of UK Retail Appointed Representatives (ARs), Introducer ARs and Delegated Authority Agreements
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, acting on feedback to drive service improvement
- Work collaboratively with Branch and Partner Assurance teams to define, document and embed oversight and monitoring parameters
- Implement and maintain the oversight framework, ensuring alignment and consistency across the Gallagher estate
- Participate in supervisory and conduct meetings, producing clear and insightful reports
- Support FCA reporting requirements, ensuring submissions are accurate and delivered on time
- Produce monthly reports for the UK Retail Conduct and Risk Forum, highlighting performance, trends and potential risks
- Review and update key team documentation, including the Oversight Policy and AR Framework
- Stay up to date with regulatory and industry developments, particularly FCA requirements, to maintain appropriate proficiency levels
About You:
- Experience within the insurance industry (or a closely related regulated environment)
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles
- Working knowledge of the FCA Handbook relevant to Appointed Representatives
- GCSEs (or equivalent) as a minimum; CII / Dip CII qualification held or working towards
- The ability to build credible, effective relationships with partners and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and active listening skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Eligibility to work in the UK
