We are seeking to hire an Actuarial Analyst to join our Casualty team based in London (City). In this role, you will apply your expertise in insurance and reinsurance pricing techniques to provide outstanding client service and contribute to the ambitious growth targets of the team. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, happy to lead meetings and deliver risk solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Risk analysis and modelling of clients’ portfolios including complex multinational groups.
- Design and evaluation of risk management strategies for specialty lines including emerging risks.
- Building bespoke models and developing new modelling approaches for un-modelled perils, niche portfolios or black swan events.
- Valuation and pricing of reinsurance contracts, structured insurance solutions and capital market products.
- Being involved in renewals, tenders and ad-hoc projects.
- Liaising with stakeholders and building strong relationships by communicating effectively, internally and externally, to maximise service delivery levels.
Qualifications:
- Part-qualified as an actuary ideally although not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to forming relationships with clients.
- Sound knowledge and confidence in presenting model outputs, model limitations, and assumptions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- From 1/2 years of professional work experience in Re/Insurance industry.
