Overview
As a Valuation Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive valuation services to our customers, adhering to RICS standards for both commercial and residential properties.
How you\’ll make an impact
- Conducting valuations in accordance with RICS standards, covering mainly Rebuild Cost Assessment.
- Preparing and presenting property reports, business cases, and statements of need with accurate measurements of sites and premises.
- Visiting sites and identifying various constructions of property and how this influences Rebuild Cost Assessments.
- Writing detailed reports for purposes of providing clients with accurate Rebuild Cost Assessments.
- Writing and submitting proposals to insurers on behalf of clients to secure efficient insurance solutions.
- Communicating with internal and external clients to secure work.
- Delivering in-house or client training sessions.
About you
- RICS registered valuer with current accreditation through relevant courses.
- Maintains RICS Level 3 status, adhering to Red Book and CPD requirements.
- Capable of independent and team work.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ideally certified.
- Experienced in commercial and residential valuation surveying.
- Skilled in producing client reports demonstrating due diligence and adequacy in sum insured.
- Proficient in research and creating RICS-compliant reports.
- Understands regulations for various client types.
- Able to conduct training sessions.
- Knowledgeable in market vs. building valuations and construction materials for rebuild assessments.
- Collects and assesses building materials, ensuring measurement accuracy.
- Understands cost implications of locations and materials.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to travel for inspections.
- Holds a full UK driving license and is eligible to work in the UK.
