Arthur Ibbett Limited is a well-established family business selling a wide range of garden machinery, parts and servicing within the horticultural, ground care and home sectors. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person as a Horticultural Sales Administrator operating from our Great Paxton showroom.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Establishing customers' needs by phone, email and face to face
- Accepting and booking in supplier deliveries
- Ensuring products are delivered to customers with a full handover
- Liaising and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
- Placing supplier orders
- Maintaining showroom stock
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Good communication skills, face to face, telephone and email
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere with the ability to cope well under pressure
- General computer skills and familiarity with email, internet, social media and applications
- Knowledge of Ibcos Gold software would be an advantage but training will be given
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Knowledge of horticultural machinery preferred
- Familiarity of working in a busy retail environment
- Full driving licence is a MUST.
We are not looking for a salesperson; however, this role could develop that way if you are keen for it to do so, where commission would be payable.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm on a rotational basis, hours repaid in lieu.
