A leading Retail insurer is hiring a Senior Portfolio Pricing Analyst to strengthen its Pricing function in Manchester. The role focuses on delivering performance insights, forecasting and portfolio analysis to support commercial decision‑making across multiple Retail lines.
What you'll be doing:
- Analysing portfolio performance and key drivers across products/channels
- Producing LR/COR forecasts, profit trajectories and budgeting insights
- Working with Pricing, Finance, Claims and Reserving teams to improve outcomes
- Providing actionable, data‑led recommendations based on internal & external data
What we're looking for:
- Experience in insurance pricing, portfolio, trading or actuarial analytics
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to communicate insights clearly
- Exposure to tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, EMBLEM, RADAR, Databricks (or similar)
- Understanding of Retail performance metrics (LR, COR, forecasts etc.)
Location & Setup:
Manchester Hybrid: c.2–3 days per week in office
