Arthur is delighted to be collaborating with a speciality insurance and reinsurance company who, due to additional headcount and growth, are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their pricing function. This position offers the opportunity to support pricing activity across multiple lines of business while collaborating closely with underwriting and other core functions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver support for individual risks across various business lines, including both insurance and reinsurance products.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models to support underwriting decisions.
  • Profitability reviews and portfolio analysis to inform strategy.
  • Partner with underwriters in line with commercial needs.
  • Contribute to the development of pricing frameworks, including new methodologies and tools as required by the business.
  • Collaborate with teams across Actuarial Reserving, Risk, Claims and Finance.

Requirements

  • Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent), with significant experience in case pricing.
  • Strong background in actuarial pricing within the general insurance or reinsurance sector.
  • Lloyd’s or London Market is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in Excel; R or Python is advantageous.
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical skills.
