We are supporting a top client who are seeking an experienced Capital Actuary to join their team in London. This is a newly created role to focus on development of the Group Model internationally whilst streamlining and improving processes. This role reports into the Capital Manager and will have significant exposure to stakeholders at all levels, and globally.
Responsibilities:
- This role will be leading the project through analysing the existing processes and workflows to identify how to improve them to benefit the business, which means that there will be clear autonomy and ownership over work.
- Other responsibilities include portfolio analysis, risk parameterisation, and validation.
Qualifications:
- Our client are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated nearly / newly qualified actuary, or exam stopper, with at least 3 years of capital modelling experience within general insurance.
- Communication skills, ability to think outside the box, and confidence to push back against stakeholders are highly important skills for this role too.
Requirements:
- This role will require you to be in the office 3 days a week and our client can only consider UK based individuals with full working rights.
