Temporary Part Time Payroll Administrator (Maternity Cover)
£13.50 per hour
24-30 hours per week. Minimum 3 days per week, flexible hours/days.
Bishop Sutton HQ – 22/10/2025.
Daily Tasks
- Payroll Administration.
- Calculating elements of salaries such as statutory sick pay.
- Administration of T&A system and training. Improve management T&A capabilities by analysing trends and provide training where required.
- Collate and produce reporting data as required.
- Consolidate all payroll data ready for outsourced provider.
- Ensure legal compliance when changes are implemented.
- Provide requested or additional payroll information relevant to Senior Management for action or improvements.
- Support People Team administrators where required.

- Remain up to date with Pay-related legislation.
- Complete training where required to develop knowledge of People Processes.

- Comply with operational and legal requirements relating to food safety and health and safety.

Schedule
- Day Shift.
- Monday-Friday (generally).
- On site for 6 months then hybrid will be considered.
Education, Skills And Work Experience Requirements
- Experience of using Payroll Software.
- Experience working in an inhouse payroll department.
- Problem Solving.
- Communication, both written & verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Programmes).
- Evidence of a good standard of education, including GCSE’s in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9/A*-C) or equivalent.
