In the UK, the combined Performance and Resilience team is growing its team to support both UK and international clients. This is a unique opportunity to be central to building and developing a new consulting team within a strong global business.
ADL is currently looking for an experienced Manager to support the development of capability and client base within the UK. The individual will have a strong track record in delivering Operational and Supply chain improvement within UK and global clients, ideally in delivering and managing assignments in Operations, Procurement & Supply chain strategy and performance improvement within multiple sectors including Industrial, Manufacturing and Transportation. As a manager, you will be focused on project delivery, supporting clients and internal projects for our teams.
Responsibilities
- Being central to the development and delivery of solutions to large clients, working with senior stakeholders in client locations in the UK and internationally.
- Supporting the recruitment and development of ADL team.
- Consultancy involves a high level of responsibility and pressure. There can be some stress as there will be tough targets and tight deadlines to meet.
- Work can be carried out on an international level, with many client organisations having offices overseas. This can provide opportunities for travel and work abroad and/or working across different time zones.
- London-based and part of a team of 50+ professionals locally, and a global network of over 1500+ employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating intellectual strength and flexibility to understand complex problems and rationalise these into a workable solution.
- Providing rigorous analysis from relevant and accurate datasets to drive fact-based decision making.
- Working with Partners and Principals to lead teams in delivering great client outcomes and achieving project margins for ADL.
- Support scoping of new client opportunities and development of pitches and proposals.
- Working within a team environment, committed to achieving solutions with the ability to work under pressure whilst supporting the development of your team and the wider practice.
- Bringing a strong interest and commitment to developing and delivering pragmatic solutions for clients.
- Contributing to impactful thought leadership for use in business development, engagement delivery, as well as marketing to build ADL’s profile.
- Demonstrating strong presentation and facilitation skills with an ability to succinctly and creatively present robust and evidence-based messages.
- Developing and producing high quality output against project objectives and meeting tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years relevant experience including delivery and management of Operations, Procurement and Supply chain projects (at least two of these).
- Relevant project and sector experience to allow you to hit the ground running.
- At least 2.1 Honours Degree.
Personal Attributes:
- Maturity, experience and confidence to manage and develop consulting teams.
- Ability to deliver strategy assignments at senior levels.
- Track record of delivering relevant projects.
- Highly motivated, energetic, entrepreneurial, hard-working and creative.
- Aptitude for client relationship building, and motivation for selling and business development.
- Committed to the highest professional standards of quality and integrity.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical skills.
