The Job
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position will be responsible for growth in sales, marginal income, profit, and market share by generating sales in the assigned territory for the Biologics product portfolio.
- Tasks And Responsibilities
- Sales
- Achieve given quota on sales.
- Develop and implement robust sales business plans.
- Product and market development.
- Generating 70% New Business.
- Consultative sell, targeting the clinical operating and secondary care environment and/ or the wider community, primary care, and private clinic customer base (both MSK and outside orthopedic markets).
- Provide technical assistance and training to clinicians.
- Product management – collaborate, train and support colleagues.
- Attend conferences and meetings as required.
- Assist Sales Manager in providing accurate sales forecasts.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is provided before and after sales.
- Plan and organise work efficiently.
- Market development
- Identify key opinion leaders for key product lines and develop and monitor close professional contacts.
- Identify new product ideas and opportunities and convey them to the management.
- Gather all relevant market information and provide it to the management.
- Administration
- Ensure CRM is completed daily and accurately.
- Complete paperwork (monthly report, expense statements) accurately and submit by the requested dates.
- Complete all administration tasks issued by head office in the time frame advised.
- Miscellaneous
- Introduce or maintain and improve the profile of Arthrex in the assigned territory.
- Maintain self-study program and pursue new trends in Biologics and related issues.
- Uphold all company policies and procedures.
- To maintain ASP expenses within the budget limits.
- To maximise the use of selling time and tools.
- To ensure optimal internal and external client relationships.
Education And Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- General Requirements
- A minimum of 1 years sales experience preferably in Orthopaedics; Biologics sales; implant sales.
- Dynamic, credible and hard working.
- Professional in appearance and actions and possess a strong work ethic.
- High level of integrity, with a strong desire for success and making things happen.
- Ability to drive portfolio sales personally and via the sales team.
- Good knowledge of the human anatomy and of biological procedures.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent selling skills
- Ability to work within a small and demanding team environment .
- Customer and result oriented attitude.
- Working Arrangements
Full-time Monday to Friday (40 hours /week) some weekend work on occasion.
Compensation And Benefits
Competitive salary package and commission scheme based on level of experience and recognising your success. 25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, Contributory Pension scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Company Car and full job specific training provided.
