About the Role

About You

  • Acting as lead Process Engineer to ensure the design of projects in an efficient, safe and compliant manner
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of complex design projects
  • Helping prepare process design deliverables to the required standard, within budget and on time
  • Undertaking process calculations and process modelling
  • Developing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications and process descriptions
  • Mentoring and support for less experienced colleagues
  • Reviewing and approving design work undertaken by others
  • Obtaining and reviewing supplier quotations, management of competitive tendering processes
  • Ensuring the use of suitable design methods, standards and data as required by legislation and/or client requirements
  • Business development, proposal preparation and budgeting
  • Lead complex design projects within high-hazard industries, both technically and administratively
  • Manage project delivery, ensuring effective coordination and oversight
  • Apply expertise across a broad range of sectors, including food and drink, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries
  • Support a diverse client base with varying project requirements
  • Bring experience from multiple industries to enhance project outcomes and consultancy services
  • Experience within the distilling sector desirable and viewed favourably

Qualifications

  • Hold an Honours or Masters degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Possess a full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
  • Professional chartership(s) desirable and viewed favourably
