Key Responsibilities
- Technical and managerial delivery of civils projects, including drainage, roads, and renewable sector opportunities.
- Client facing, comfortable leading bids and tenders, exploring new opportunities β particularly in energy, defence and manufacturing sectors.
- Understanding the development needs of team members and leading them to perform at their best.
- Liaising with multidisciplinary groups and teams to provide clients with a fully integrated approach to projects.
About You
- Drive and ambition to succeed, supporting the business to do the same.
- Relevant experience of working on multi-disciplinary projects and tasks.
- Experience in an engineering consultancy, with particular expertise in project managing and delivering civils projects.
- Demonstrable technical excellence in civil engineering design.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and guidance.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) including production of clear and precise technical reports and effective presentation of findings/recommendations.
- People management and staff mentoring experience beneficial.
- Ability to work to tight timescales and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree, experience and skills.
- Chartered Member of ICE, or demonstrably working towards chartership.
Additional Information
- May require travel (including occasional overnight stays) across the UK and overseas, depending on project requirements.
- A full clean driving licence desirable.
