We are a team of enthusiastic and collaborative planners, designers, environmental consultants, engineers and health & safety professionals. Our client base includes public and private sectors. We have grown significantly over the last few years and now employ 200 individuals across the UK. About the Role
- Supporting senior colleagues with project delivery, programming and budgets
- Contributing as a member of the Process Safety Team within the wider Environmental Engineering Group
- Delivering high-quality technical project work, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget
- Participating in HAZOP studies (e.g. preparation of worksheets as technical scribe) and other hazard identification workshops
- Supporting production of DSEAR assessments, including hazardous area classification and appropriate calculations
- Supporting COMAH-related projects for high-hazard sites including modelling fires / explosions to understand potential effects
- Working with colleagues across Arthian's Environmental Engineering team and wider business to deliver integrated solutions for clients
- Travelling to project sites, which may include overnight stays, out of hours work and periods working away from home
- Continuously developing process safety, engineering and consulting skills through structured training, mentoring and hands-on project experience
- Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role and level of experience
About You
- A full UK driving licence
- Ability to use full Microsoft Office Suite
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow with the business
- First-class communication skills – verbal and written
- Proven teamworking skills
Qualifications
- Honours or Masters Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Applicants with a post-graduate MSc in Safety & Risk Management or Safety, Risk & Reliability Engineering will also be considered

- The role may require travel (including occasional overnight stays) across the UK and overseas, depending on project requirements
