Overview

Clock Barn wedding and events venue, RG28 7RB. Artemis are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to work at our Clock Barn venue in Whitchurch. You will need to be self-motivated, calm under pressure with a passion for cooking the finest food using fresh ingredients.

Start date: May 2026. Salary: £29,000 per annum + hourly overtime.

About Artemis: Artemis is a company that provides the finest quality, modern British food and drink to high-end clients across 15 privately owned estates around the UK. Clock Barn is an exclusive-use wedding and events venue in Hampshire countryside.

The must haves:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • A passion for cooking.
  • A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
  • Good communication skills, with an understanding of HACCP.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Working as part of the team to ensure high standards of food preparation and service, while maintaining a clean environment.
  • Following allergens policy and kitchen management package (full training given).
  • Day-to-day reporting to the Head Chef/Sous Chef and responding to emails.
  • Using Checkit (full training given).
