Pelham House, centrally located in Lewes, is seeking a reliable, proactive, and friendly Housekeeping team member to join our friendly team on a casual basis, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests across 30 guest bedrooms in our exclusive Wedding & events venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and change linen in our guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
  • Bed Making: Change linens and prepare beds to a high standard.
  • Supplies: Replenish guest amenities, toiletries, and cleaning products.
  • Maintenance: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Flexibility: Adhere to all training and Health & Safety procedures at all times and report any maintenance issues.

Duties are not limited to the above list, and you will be required to carry out any reasonable task that is asked of you by your senior colleagues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be given.
  • Keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Positive, "can-do" attitude and a team player.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable attendance, including availability for weekends and bank holidays.
