28,000 - £29,750 per annum plus hourly overtime.

Artemis are looking for a kitchen porter to join our kitchen team at our Bassmead Manor venue in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will need to be self‑motivated, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • The Must Haves
  • 1 year’s experience in a similar position preferred but not essential. Full training provided.
  • A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
  • Strong communication skills. Hygiene awareness and basic knowledge of food safety and COSHH.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location. Please note this position does NOT offer live in.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work full‑time in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping a clean, tidy working environment, dishwashing, kitchen sanitation and waste management.
  • Assisting chefs in basic food preparation.
  • Day to day reporting to the Head chef/Sous chef.
