Pelham House, centrally located in Lewes, is seeking a reliable, proactive, and friendly Housekeeping team member to join our friendly team on a casual basis, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests across 30 guest bedrooms in our exclusive Wedding & events venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and change linen in our guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- Bed Making: Changing linens and preparing beds to a high standard.
- Supplies: Replenishing guest amenities, toiletries, and cleaning products.
- Maintenance: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Flexibility: Adhere to all training and Health & Safety procedures at all times and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred; however, not essential and training will be given.
- Keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Positive, 'can-do' attitude and a team player.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable attendance, including availability for weekends and bank holidays.
