Kitchen Assistant

Salary - £26,436.80+ overtime

The Pear Tree, Purton, Wiltshire SN5 4ED

Full Time - 40 hours per week

Start Date- 09/09/2026

Artemis are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant based at The Pear Tree, the successful candidate must be self-motivated, have a passion for good food and service, calm under pressure and be able to work in a small team. Experience in weddings and conferences, 100+ covers, fine dining, together with a strong background in food led establishments.

Requirements

  • Own transport is essential due to the remote location
  • Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK
  • Some commercial kitchen experience

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Chef / Manager on duty
  • Operating automated dishwasher
  • Hand wash and sanitising large kitchen prep items
  • Cleaning of kitchen equipment & surfaces
  • Some food preparation
  • H&S - training will be given
  • Food Hygiene – training will be given
