Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys keeping manufacturing lines running smoothly, solving problems at pace, and making real improvements on site?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where engineering is genuinely valued. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting a busy production environment, working closely with production and engineering teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, routine inspections and breakdown repairs
- Diagnosing faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Working with a range of manufacturing machinery, ensuring efficiency and reliability
- Calibrating and adjusting equipment to maintain precision and product quality
- Supporting production teams with equipment set-ups and technical guidance
- Keeping accurate maintenance, repair and calibration records
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S regulations
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains
- Supporting machinery upgrades, modifications and site improvements
- Providing technical support and training to machine operators where required
What we’re looking for
- A strong mechanical maintenance background within a manufacturing environment
- Experience fault-finding and repairing production machinery
- Knowledge of CNC machinery, extrusion lines or similar automated equipment
- A practical, problem-solving mindset with good attention to detail
- Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally with production teams
- A proactive engineer who enjoys improving how things work
