Ready to step into your first QHSE Manager role? We are working with a well-established UK manufacturer specialising in window and door systems, supplying into the construction and building products sector. They are looking for a Senior HSE Advisor or QHSE professional who is ready to take the next step into a site-leading role, with full ownership of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems. This is a genuine opportunity to move into a QHSE Manager position, where you will have autonomy, responsibility and the chance to shape how things are done.
The Role
You will take responsibility for all QHSE activities across a busy manufacturing site, with support from senior leadership as you grow into the role. This will include:
- Supporting and managing the Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
- Leading Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments and audits
- Driving improvements in site safety culture
- Supporting environmental systems (ISO 14001) and sustainability initiatives
- Assisting with energy management (ISO 50001)
- Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances
- Delivering training and supporting teams across the site
About You
This role would suit someone who is:
- Currently working as a HSE Advisor, Senior HSE Advisor, or Quality/HSE professional
- Looking to step into a more senior, site-wide leadership role
- Experienced within a manufacturing or production environment
- Confident working closely with operations and influencing at all levels
- Proactive, organised and keen to take ownership
You will ideally have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
- Exposure to ISO systems (9001 / 14001 / 45001 or similar)
- Experience supporting audits, investigations and compliance activities
