We’re recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working within a busy production environment and is comfortable working rotating days and nights shifts. The Role:
- Working as part of the site engineering team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production and packaging machinery across the factory.
- You’ll be heavily involved in:
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Reactive breakdown support
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Supporting production uptime and machine reliability
- Continuous improvement activities
- Working closely with production operators and fellow engineers
You’ll Be Working On:
- Motors, drives and control panels
- PLC-controlled machinery
- Sensors, inverters and relays
- Pneumatic and automated production equipment
- High-speed manufacturing and packaging machinery
What We’re Looking For:
- Electrically biased maintenance background
- Experience working within a factory / manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a production environment
- Positive attitude and strong team ethic
- Comfortable working rotating days and nights shifts
