You’ll play a key part in keeping a 24/7 site running efficiently, carrying out a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and improvement projects. It’s a hands-on role where every shift brings something new, and your contribution is genuinely valued.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep lines running through reactive and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults (roughly 60/40 split).
  • Work on varied machinery including extruders, shredders, washers, and wastewater systems.
  • Take full ownership of jobs - from fault to fix and accurate handover.
  • Collaborate with your team to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards across the plant.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified Maintenance Engineer (electrical or multi-skilled).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical knowledge.
  • Confident reading technical drawings (electrical, pneumatic, PLCs).
  • A team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Nice to Have

  • Time-served apprenticeship or 18th Edition certification.
  • FLT licence or background in high-volume 24/7 manufacturing.
