We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong machining experience looking to work within a modern and well-equipped environment.
The Role
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and specifications. This is a hands-on role focused on machining rather than programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Working from engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
- Ensuring parts are produced to required quality standards
- Making adjustments to tooling and offsets as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Shift Pattern
- Monday – Thursday:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 11:00pm
- 2:00pm – 6:00pm (25% shift allowance applies)
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator)
- Experience working with control systems such as Winmax, Siemens, or Heidenhain
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining aluminium components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- This role does not require programming from scratch – focus is on setting and operating
- Tolerances will vary depending on the component and candidate experience
