Are you an electrically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding in a fast-paced factory environment? Do you thrive on keeping production running, solving breakdowns quickly and working on automated manufacturing machinery? We’re recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working within a busy production environment and is comfortable working rotating days and nights shifts.

The Role:

Working as part of the site engineering team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production and packaging machinery across the factory. You’ll be heavily involved in:

  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
  • Reactive breakdown support
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Supporting production uptime and machine reliability
  • Continuous improvement activities
  • Working closely with production operators and fellow engineers

You’ll Be Working On:

  • Motors, drives and control panels
  • PLC-controlled machinery
  • Sensors, inverters and relays
  • Pneumatic and automated production equipment
  • High-speed manufacturing and packaging machinery

What We’re Looking For:

  • Electrically biased maintenance background
  • Experience working within a factory / manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
  • Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a production environment
  • Positive attitude and strong team ethic
  • Comfortable working rotating days and nights shifts
