Take Ownership. Drive Standards. Make an Impact.
This is not a “maintain the system” role. This is a hands-on Quality Manager position where you will take full ownership of the Quality Management System, drive improvements, and influence how quality is embedded across the entire business. You’ll be working within a well-established, profitable engineering manufacturer, supplying into regulated industries — where quality genuinely matters.
The Role:
- Leading and developing the company’s quality function, ensuring compliance, improving processes and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Managing and improving the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Leading non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis.
- Driving continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma mindset).
- Managing supplier quality and audits.
- Overseeing incoming, in-process and final inspection.
- Investigating customer complaints and implementing solutions.
- Supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT) of machinery.
- Delivering quality training and influencing site-wide standards.
This is a role where you’ll be visible, influential and expected to challenge the status quo.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience managing or improving a QMS in manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- Background in engineering / machinery / batch manufacturing.
- Experience with supplier audits and compliance.
- Confident communicator who can influence at all levels.
- Someone who can lead, not just maintain.
Desirable:
- Internal or Lead Auditor (ISO 9001).
- Experience within regulated industries (e.g. food / machinery).
Why This Role?
- Genuine ownership of quality across the business.
- Established, financially secure company (80+ years).
- Opportunity to shape systems, not just follow them.
- Early Friday finish every week.
