Are you an experienced Installation, Commissioning or Service Engineer looking for a role where you can work on technically advanced industrial machinery across a wide range of manufacturing environments? Our client is a well-established and highly respected engineering business supplying specialist end-of-line automation and packaging equipment throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support projects across the UK.
The Role
- Installing and commissioning industrial machinery at customer sites
- Conducting machine performance trials and system testing
- Providing technical support following installation
- Delivering operator and maintenance training
- Working alongside customers, suppliers and project teams
- Supporting service engineers with technical troubleshooting when required
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
- Experience installing, commissioning or servicing industrial machinery
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays
