A leading, award-winning engineering company is looking for a PLC/Automation Engineer based in the Manchester area. You'll work across the UK delivering automation projects for high-profile clients in food & beverage, packaging, nuclear and defence sectors.
As a Siemens Partner and Tier 1 Supplier, we need someone with strong Siemens PLC programming skills, capable of designing, developing, and troubleshooting control systems from concept to commissioning. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, taking full ownership of projects.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with PLC programming (Siemens preferred)
- Electrical schematics & control panel design
- Commissioning and troubleshooting on industrial sites
- Good understanding of mechanical systems
- Willing to travel UK-wide as needed
- HND/Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field
Bonus Points:
- Experience with servo systems and industrial networks (Profinet, Modbus TCP, etc.)
