We are partnering with a well-established and innovative manufacturing business specialising in the development and production of sustainable animal health products. With a strong global presence and partnerships across veterinary and agricultural markets, the company continues to experience steady growth and is now looking to strengthen its finance team. As a result, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join the business. This is an excellent chance to become part of a forward-thinking organisation offering a varied and hands-on role within a supportive finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and analysis
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, including P60 and P11D reporting
- Managing daily bank administration, including reconciliations, payments, and cash flow forecasting
- Handling accounts payable, ensuring accurate invoice processing and VAT treatment
- Managing accounts receivable, including sales invoicing and credit control
- Completing HMRC filings such as VAT returns, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting
- Preparing financial and statistical reports for management and key stakeholders
- Supporting the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors
Who we're looking for:
- AAT/ATI qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience using Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 200 or Sage 50
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
