An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a growing and ambitious business in the Newry area. This is a key role within the organisation, working closely with the Managing Director to support the company’s continued expansion through strong financial management and commercial insight. This position will suit a proactive and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, with responsibility across reporting, controls, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs, and provide clear variance analysis
- Manage cashflow forecasting and support effective working capital management
- Maintain robust financial controls and continuously improve processes and efficiencies
- Support the implementation of new systems, including ERP, and enhance reporting capabilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations and support the development of the finance team
The Person
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or strong QBE background
- Experience in a hands-on finance role within a growing or project-led business
- Strong financial reporting and control experience
- Commercially minded with the ability to support business decision-making
- Comfortable working with financial systems and strong Excel skills
