An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially minded Newly Qualified Accountant to join a growing and well-established organisation based in Antrim. This is a highly varied role within a busy finance team, offering genuine exposure across the wider business and the chance to make a real impact on financial performance and decision-making. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in producing accurate financial reporting, supporting operational teams, and helping to drive improvements across finance processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts with clear financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Support month and year-end close and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and internal recharges across departments.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and monitor capital expenditure.
- Complete bank reconciliations and support finance agreements, including hire purchase.
- Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns, including UK and ROI VAT.
- Support wider reporting requirements and contribute to improvements in financial systems and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar accounting role
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Solid understanding of financial controls and reporting processes
