About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver a diverse marketing and events programme for a thriving organisation. You’ll oversee everything from campaign strategy and budget management to creative development and event delivery.

Working alongside senior leadership and external partners, you’ll bring ideas to life - whether that’s through digital storytelling, seasonal events, PR activity or community engagement projects. Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an annual communications, marketing and events plan
  • Create, plan and manage events such as seasonal celebrations, food weeks and city experiences
  • Manage budgets, suppliers and agencies to deliver high-quality marketing outcomes
  • Oversee all digital channels including website, social media and email marketing
  • Produce creative and engaging content that increases brand visibility and public engagement
  • Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to amplify campaigns and events
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, using insights to inform strategy
  • Ensure all communications and materials are high-quality, accurate and on brand

Experience required

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior marketing or events management role
  • Proven success in developing and delivering marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets and external partners
  • Confident communicator with exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A creative thinker who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in results
