We are looking for an organised and proactive Management Accountant to become part of a busy and growing finance team. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role with real impact across the wider business. This role sits within a long-established and growing Mid-Ulster firm. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting business decision-making across departments. Great opportunity for any newly qualified or qualified by experience candidate.

Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including analysis of financial performance
- Support the year-end process and liaise with external auditors
- Manage accruals, prepayments, and intercompany or internal recharges
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including capital expenditure tracking
- Oversee bank reconciliations and finance agreements such as hire purchase
- Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns, including VAT (UK and ROI) and other compliance reporting
- Contribute to financial reporting requirements (e.g. surveys, trade returns) and support ongoing improvements to finance systems and processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a similar accounting role
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and financial systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of financial processes and controls
